IGLO ENERGY entry door is a 7-chamber Class A PVC door system at 82 mm frame depth with a 5-chamber sash, built on the same frame platform as the IGLO ENERGY window line plus a structural slab and entry hardware (3-point multi-hook locking, 3 two-leaf hinges).

The seal configuration uses three EPDM gaskets — interior perimeter, exterior perimeter, and a foamed-EPDM central gasket — the strongest sealing in the PVC door range, improving air-infiltration ratings under wind pressure.

Thermal performance of Ud = 0.8 W/(m²K) is the best in the IGLO PVC entry door line — slightly ahead of the IGLO EDGE door (0.81) despite the EDGE shipping with premium triple-pane glazing. Upgrading IGLO ENERGY to triple-pane Ug = 0.5 reduces Ud to about 0.7, into passive-house range.

Threshold detail. The standard aluminium threshold with a thermal-break strip interrupts the cold-conduction path at floor level. In practical Northeast US terms: the interior floor by the door doesn’t condense in winter, the threshold doesn’t sweat during cold snaps, and adjacent hardwood, tile or carpet doesn’t see condensation damage along the door line. This is the main reason European PVC entry doors avoid the bottom-rail moisture issues common on North American entries after 10–15 years.

Glazing ranges from solid panel through top-lite, half-lite, full-lite, sidelite and transom. Colour options are factory-standard white and brown plus the full Renolit foil range (wood-grain finishes and custom RAL); anthracite is available through foil. NFRC-equivalent thermal data, slab-style references and threshold detail drawings are available by request.
